Job Description

REGIONAL ACCOUNT MANAGER, BUS & COACH, BUS & COACH

SALARY – £32,000 TO £35,000 PER ANNUM + BONUS + BENEFITS

WORKING HOURS – MONDAY TO FRIDAY 09:00 TO 17:30

Due to our continued success as one of the country’s leading suppliers of heavy commercial vehicles we have an exciting opportunity for a Regional Account Manager for Bus & Coach sales.

Working across the North and North West of England you will be responsible for developing sales opportunities throughout the UK retail sales areas, through an innovative customer contact strategy and in supporting the retail sales team with their customer journeys through the sales to delivery process. The candidate will also manage the generation of new and used business in a small territory and will develop that area by forming strong relationships with the customer base and with the after sales network. The role requires a positive, can do attitude towards growing our business and a passion for developing and finishing new ideas and improvements to the customer experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote and grow the Scania Bus and Coach vehicle range within the region
  • Establish a committed approach to our customers with a primary aim to give outstanding customer service
  • Manage the customer database using set standards to increase our profile in the region with a creative and planned approach
  • Work with local market knowledge and information to find your unique features over the competition
  • Work with the local network to establish a strong customer base with both current and conquest customers
  • Work as an integral part of a close, ambitious team and strive for the teams success
  • Attend industry functions where necessary to promote the Scania brand and yourself
  • Build good relationships with internal departments to ensure cross functionality is of a high quality
  • Manage the sales process for the customer in a professional and confidential manner
  • Establish a proactive entrepreneurial outlook to drive your business area
  • Work with team members to find continuous improvement areas across the department
  • Manage a controlled, professional handover and robust follow up after delivery

  • Full clean PSV driving licence
  • Knowledge of the Scania product
  • Knowledge of the Bus and Coach retail customer base
