Job Description

We are recruiting an exciting new position here at Transdev Blazefield, we are looking for a Head of Commercial to join our team.

Reporting to the Commercial Director, the focus of this role is to position Transdev Blazefield as a key operator in the UK by building and maintaining key stakeholder relationships, creating and managing new and existing projects, generating commercial growth by identifying new and maximising existing opportunities and developed contract and franchise bids

Key responsibilities

  • To prepare and manage Transdev commercial documents including company presentations, project presentation, for local business and group audiences in line with legal, regulatory and ISO standards.
  • To prepare financial business plan modelling and financial analysis of targeted commercial projects including revenue and cost modelling, IRR, project valuation, sensitivity and risk analysis, etc.
  • To build and maintain Business to Business relationships with our key retail partners such as colleges, local authorities through Enhanced Partnerships, and key local associations.
  • To build and maintain our commercial opportunities database.
  • To identify opportunities to grow the business.
  • To support the Commercial Director with our franchising, B2G and B2B contract bidding strategy.
  • To support the management team and Transdev Group during tender processes.

Key skills and experience

  • A minimum of three years’ experience working in a commercial role at a supervisory level and/or a minimum of three years’ experience in business financial modelling (BPs).
  • Good presentation and communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels both internally and externally to the company.
  • The ability to work autonomously and as part of a wider team managing a busy workload.
  • The ability to work flexibly and to deliver to tight deadlines.
  • The ability to learn and continuously improve our commercial strength.
  • Able to work flexibility and has transport to travel to other locations as required (UK driving licence is required).
