FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER, COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
Candidates need to be based in and around the Luton area North of the M25.
Core responsibilities.
- Field Service support for Voith Turbo – Commercial Vehicles Division, Voith Electric Drive and Diwa bus transmission systems.
- Carry out diagnostics and repairs at customer and third-party sites.
- Carry out major unit exchanges.
Education
- Completed an engineering apprenticeship as a minimum, level 5 qualification or higher preferred.
Professional Experience
- Bus industry experience is essential.
- Mechatronics or multi-skilled engineer with electrical bias.
- Experience with PSV diesel/electric vehicles.
- Background in field services and engineering.
- Experience with electric vehicles.
- Working knowledge of zero emission vehicles, electric drive/fuel cell.
- Experience with high voltage vehicle systems.
- Working knowledge of variable speed electric drives and control systems.
- Excellent diagnostic capabilities.
- Good IT skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
