- Ensure fleet reliability, availability, and compliance with DVSA and company standards
- Develop and deliver engineering KPIs across the region
- Monitor depot performance and implement operational improvements
- Manage regional engineering budgets, projects, and resources
- Champion health & safety, quality assurance, and sustainability initiatives
- Contribute to fleet renewal, innovation, and zero-emission vehicle integration plans
- Foster a high-performance culture with a focus on leadership, accountability, and development
About You:
- Proven leadership in a multi-site engineering or fleet management role, ideally in the bus, transport, or heavy vehicle sector
- Strong technical knowledge of PCV/HGV engineering and maintenance practices
- Excellent people management and communication skills
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset and commercial awareness
- Comfortable working with data, compliance metrics, and industry regulations
- Full UK driving licence essential; CPC and PCV licence desirable
- Transport Manager CPC desirable, or willingness to study and pass this within 6 months of employment.
What We Offer:
- Competitive salary package
- Company car or car allowance
- Generous pension scheme and holiday entitlement
- Opportunities to shape the future of engineering and fleet sustainability
- Continuous professional development and progression routes
Location – Greater Manchester
